RECEIVE
This TSO command will allow you to be on the receiving end of the XMIT command.
after issuing this command you might be prompted to input the parameters to the incoming file
- new data set name
- block size
- directory blocks
- space allocation
Alternatively you can also just accept the defaults that come with the file
If not specifying a new data set to transmit to the data set beginning with the User ID adn ending with the qualifier name of the data set will be assumed.
If the file exists you can replace the identically named members of it.
Once the operation is completed, the system sending the file will also receive a notification for it.
